I’ve heard from many families and youth organizations about the ongoing challenge of keeping kids physically active in today’s busy, tech-filled world. I strongly believe that teaching kids to love playing and moving — and helping them find ways to fit activity into their everyday lives — is crucial. Building those habits early can set healthy patterns that last well into adulthood.
Wondering how I could help, I decided to create a quick tips sheet and a resources list for parents, caregivers, organizations, and kids (see Free Tips link below). These sites and tools offer creative ideas to help kids have fun, stay active, and burn off some energy — whether parents are working from home, shuttling between activities, or simply need a short break.
